Cosmetically, the mechanical embosser is in good condition. It does have some scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use, and the die is rusty.

Interchangeable Die format- the one included is the company logo for John Mottershead and Company but Shaw () would probably produce a new die for you, for an undisclosed cost.
